Your Bold is Beautiful!

These words have been ringing in my spirit lately. Every time I am afraid or nervous to do something he’s asked me to do, I can hear the Holy Spirit whisper to me, “Your bold is beautiful.” These words not only give me comfort that God is with me, but they also ground me in my faith as a reminder that nothing is impossible with God!

Joshua 1:9  says, Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”

How can we go wrong with such a powerhouse verse? The truth is we do so because of our lack of faith and our low self-esteem.

We have to understand that having faith in God means that we take him at his word. We choose to believe what he says about us. God’s grace covers all of our shortcomings and insufficiencies. His grace makes it so that we have everything we need and more. There are no shortcomings in Christ. For in him, we live and move and have our being, Acts. 17:28.

The question is do you believe? Do you believe that you really can do all things through Christ who gives you strength? Do you believe that he is with you when you get ready to launch out in the deep? Do you think he would send you out ill-prepared?

Launching out into the deep can be a daunting experience. We can’t see clearly what we are stepping into. Yet God says, “You are ready.” He confirms our fears and our anxieties by speaking his word to our hearts. When we believe God’s word that has been spoken over us, his word takes root. It becomes a part of who we are in Him. His word fortifies us and as we walk out to an unknown place, God is with us.

Some of you may be asking what do you do? How do you do it? Listen, God will not send you without a plan or a strategy. He will reveal to you exactly what he wants you to do and sometimes how you should do it. He will lead you to the very people that will help you achieve your goal. He will open doors for you and make ways for you.

How do you get this plan? It’s simple, you pray. When you enter into prayer with the Almighty God something happens. Something in the Earth realm shifts. You become mindful of how weak you are without him. You rely on his very strength and his infinite wisdom. You become aware that you can do nothing apart from him. When this happens, God will begin to reveal himself to you in such a way that you won’t be able to deny, he is answering your prayer. God will send someone your way or place you in the right place at the right time. He will work things out for you that you will recognize his power. He is awesome and powerful. He will prove to you Romans 8:28, ” And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

Go inward and pray.
